What You’ll Learn

• Firearms safety rules and responsible handling 
• Pistol parts and operation (semi-automatic and revolver) 
• Ammunition basics and malfunctions 
• Proper stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control 
• Live-fire practice on the range under direct supervision 
• Cleaning and storage fundamentals

What You’ll Need to Bring

• Eye and ear protection 
• A valid photo ID 
• A notepad and pen (optional, for taking notes) 
• A good attitude and willingness to learn!
   

What to Wear

• Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops) 
• High-neck shirt (to prevent hot brass from burning skin) 
• Pants or jeans (no shorts or skirts) 
• Ball cap or brimmed hat (helps deflect ejected brass)
   

What Not to Bring or Wear

• No low-cut shirts or open-toe footwear 
• No steel-cased, reloaded, or specialty ammunition 
• No drugs, alcohol, or persons under the influence allowed 
• No loaded firearms in the classroom — all firearms must be unloaded and stored in a case upon arrival
